History

The founders of Corazones Unidos Para El Autismo (United Hearts for Autism) journey began when their son was diagnosed with autism at the age of three. They felt overwhelmed, and recognized the lack of Spanish-language resources for families was limited. Taking action, they started:

  • A Spanish language support group for parents and caregivers of autistic individuals to empower, educate, and embrace the autistic community.

  • Collaborations with various organizations in the Lehigh Valley and Philadelphia area, and

  • Expanded services to provide families with resources, training, webinars, family events, and emotional support.
